Calculated the size of the image when it is transmitted by Cable Modem

Am Image is 1024 x 768 pixels with 3 bytes/pixel. Assume the image is uncompressed. How long does it take to transmit it over a 56-kbps model channel? Over a 1-Mbps cable modem? Over a 10-Mbps Ethernet? Over the 100-Mbps Ethernet?

Size of the Image = 1024 x 768 x 3 bytes
          = 2359296 bytes
              = 18874368 bits

The time it takes to transfer the image over:

a) 56 kbps line is:

56,000 bits      = 1 second.
2359296 * 8 bits = (2359296 x 1 x 8)/56,000 seconds
                 = 337 seconds.
         = 5.61 minutes

b) 1 Mbps Cable modem:

1000,000 bits = 1 second.
18874368 bits = 18874368/1000000
              = 18.8 seconds

c) 10 Mbps Ethernet:

10,000,000 bits = 1 second
18874368 bits = 18874368/10000000
          = 1.88 seconds

d) 100 Mbps Ethernet

100,000,000 bits = 1 second
18874368 bits = 18874368/100000000
          = 0.18 seconds
